We couldn’t be happier when Penny arrived at our home in July 2003. We wanted another dog as a companion for Willma, and a new friend and hopefully showdog as well as agility- and obedience-dog for Sofie and Eva. It turned out that Penny didn’t like the idea of being a showdog at all, so her career in the ring was a short one. No matter! She is a wonderful working dog, and has all the fun in the world in the obedience ring, going tracking or training agility. Her personality is indearing as well, and she loves her family dearly and would guard us with her life if it came to that. She is an all-year-round happy swimmer, and loves above all her morning walks, where she and Alphi go swimming, except mid-winter, a couple of hundred meters in the quiet summer-sea, or in the waves of the occasional spring or fall-storm.
She is now officially Norsk viltsporchampion (Norwegian tracking champion)!
